Construction is an underrated, challenging industry. People outside of construction rarely understand the complexity and uniqueness that faces each construction project. No two projects are the same. Even if it’s the same footprint, layout, finishes, and project teams... the location is different. It is surprising how much just a change of location can affect a project. This is what I love about construction, this is why I got into construction. I love the challenge. I love that every day brings something new. Whether it be learning about a new MEP system, or a new building code, every day brings change.
This is why I chose to start my own business in Owner Representative Construction Management & Consulting. Building something is hard... Taking someone’s idea from thought to physical reality? It’s a rewarding journey. But that journey is complex, confusing, and sometimes frustrating. It takes an incredible amount of coordination, collaboration, teamwork, past experience, patience, and let’s not forget financial capital to complete these journeys. That’s where I come in. For the past 10+ years, I have worked on high-end, complex projects around the country. I’ve had the opportunity to be a part of many different types of projects, in varying capacities from Project Management to Superintendent. Whether these projects were in Downtown Los Angeles, Washington D.C., or in suburbs surrounding Boston, each project has offered a unique set of opportunities and challenges to build off of. Over the past decade I’ve honed my skills not only as a builder and team leader, but as a team member. Construction is a team effort. It takes a great deal of listening and teamwork to lead a project to the finish line.
Whether I am onsite and in the trenches on behalf of an experienced but remote client, or I am guiding a more novice client through the complexities of the construction industry - my goal is to be an extension of your team.
